Jourdain Goes the Extra Mile with Council Updates @ New Web-Log

At large City Councilor Kevin Jourdain has started a web-log designed to update residents on recent goings-on at City Hall meetings.  You can visit his site at http://holyokefirst.blogspot.com. 

On Wednesday January 16th at 6:30 pm. Ward 5 City Councilor John P. Brunelle held his first neighborhood meeting of the year.

The meeting gave residents the opportunity to raise questions and concerns, such as crime

and re-valuation of home assessments in the face of declining home values and higher taxes.

Held at the McMahon School in the library, the meeting was also attended by

Holyoke’s Police Chief Anthony Scott, and Public Works Superintendent William Fuqua, among others.

Citizens of Holyoke are urged to contact their respective councilor with their thoughts and concerns.
